Low-rise condo & townhouse in North Vancouver
The proposal is for a total density of 2.8 FSR, consisting of 57 housing units, 53 of which would be adaptable flats; the other four units would be townhouses facing the lane.
Anthem Properties has applied for a rezoning of the land at 141-155 West 3rd Street in North Vancouver to allow for the construction of a five-story strata structure with ground level commercial space.
Along the west property line, a pedestrian link is planned to connect East 3rd Street to the lane. At-grade commercial retail space of about 7,300 square feet would be offered. A total of 91 parking spots is planned, all of which will be located below grade.
North Vancouver’s Lonsdale neighbourhood comprises seven distinct neighborhoods. Great location, west coast vibe and possibility to purchase a property on the North Shore, whether detached, townhouse or your first home. Lynnmour and Calverhall are two of North Vancouver’s family-friendly neighbourhoods, as are Queensbury, Queensbury, Boulevard, and the three Lonsdale neighbourhoods — Lower, Central, and Upper Lonsdale.
To get to downtown Vancouver, Squamish, and Burnaby, commuters can take Highway 1. The north and south neighborhoods of the Lonsdale area in North Vancouver are both next to Highway 1. Keith Road and Main Street are major routes that connect to each other. People living in Lonsdale will be able to get around on buses from Translink. They will be able to get to Lonsdale Quay, which has SeaBus service to downtown Vancouver.
Residents of 141-155 West 3rd Street can easily access different types of schools all at once. St Thomas Aquinas High School, Sutherland Secondary School, Bodwell High School and Ridgeway Elementary School are among the nearest schools to the condo.
You can go on a bike ride, run, or walk your dog along an 11-mile trail near Seymour Demonstration Forest, a trail that is popular with people of all ages. Each of these three parks in the Queensbury area has a lot of space for relaxing in the forest. Loutet Park is in the Boulevard neighborhood of North Vancouver, and it has some of the largest sports fields in the city.
A decorated lobby, safe bike storage, and a spacious rooftop patio planted by van der Zalm + Associates are among the amenities. The outdoor space would extend the length of the structure and include ample seats, lounge rooms, and dining sections.
According to the project, the residence would have a range of suite types, from studios to townhouses, and 53 adaptable units that are designed and constructed in such a way that accessibility elements may be simply incorporated post-construction. There would be a total of 39 apartments with one- or two-bedroom layouts. Eight studios, six three-bedroom apartments, and four townhouses comprise the remaining units.
