High-rise condo in Toronto
In the renowned Summerhill suburb, a luxury towering condo is in the early phases of building.
49 Jackes Avenue Condos is a 29-story high-rise condominium development in Toronto by Lifetime Developments. This pre-construction project will be situated at 49 Jackes Avenue, just south of Yonge Street and Jackes Avenue. The projected 29-story condo would have 217 luxurious residences with a combination of one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats.
49 Jackes Avenue Condos will be situated just south of St. Clair Avenue East on the southwest corner of Yonge Street and Jackes Avenue. Notably, this house is located in Toronto’s premium Summerhill neighborhood. Summerhill is renowned for its opulent and unique mansions, some of which date all the way back to the early nineteenth century. Without a question, the neighborhood has survived and developed into one of the most attractive real estate markets in the Greater Toronto Area.
Considering the region’s attractions, this area has an 83 walk score, suggesting that the majority of chores can be completed on foot. Apart from the neighborhood’s outstanding institutions, the area is tightly packed with eating, drinking, and retail facilities. This neighborhood is served by the Summerhill and Rosedale subway stations, as well as the Line 1 St Clair and Duport stations. Additionally, the area is served by a streetcar (512 St Clair) and a number of bus lines, and anticipates the development of an Eglinton northbound LRT station.
Additionally, Summerhill’s status as a community is seen in the significant neighbors it has acquired, the most of whom are prominent schools. Several of them are located nearby, including the historic Toronto landmark Casa Loma, the George Brown College Casa Loma Campus, Upper Canada College, private ladies’ school Branksome Hall, and Jarvis CI. Ramsden Park and Robertson Davies Park are two other green spaces in the area. Among the area’s famous schools are The York School, The Arabesque Academy, and Cottingham Junior Public School.
The condo in particular will be in a fantastic position, only a short walk from Yonge Street, and will overlook David A. Balfour Park, which is perched above the Rosehill Reservoir. Other green spots in the neighborhood include Ramsden Park and Robertson Davies Park. Additionally, Summerhill’s status as a community is seen in the significant neighbors it has acquired, the most of whom are prominent schools. Apart from the exceptional nearby institutions, the area has an abundance of eating, drinking, and retail enterprises.
The 49 Jackes Avenue Condominiums will have a 27-story tower on a two-story platform. The 15,577-square-meter structure, which will be entirely devoted to residential space, is expected to accommodate a total of 217 condominium apartments, including 104 one-bedroom units, 90 two-bedroom units, and 23 three-bedroom units. This building’s amenities will feature a four-level underground parking garage with 55 spots per floor, seven of which will be designated as guest parking. Additionally, in response to developer pressure to adopt greener modes of transportation, 217 bicycle parking places have been suggested; 195 for residents and 22 for guests. Additionally, a pedestrian path has been designed to encourage increased walking as a mode of transportation and to provide a direct access to public transportation.
49 Jackes Avenue intends to add distinctive external vegetation into its designs to stay current with condo trends. It will have a vertical strip of’sky gardens’ that will run the length of the building’s west face, from the second floor to the top. These 9-by-4.06-metre slots are intended to hold pairs of balconies that open out to huge patios on each third story. It’s worth noticing the gorgeous cladding on this condo; the two-story podium will include a combination of brickwork, bronze metal finishes, and vertical fins extending from the glass. Additionally, the north, south, and east faces of the tower will have distinctive undulating glass walls, spandrel panels, and inset balconies. The signature’sky gardens’ will be shown on the west façade. Overall, the brilliant colors will be a welcome complement to the buildings that line Yonge Street.
