High-rise condo in Toronto
The upcoming building is a mixed-use condominium proposal by the Madison Group, which is also constructing another property next to this site. 50 Eglinton Avenue West Condos is located in Toronto at the Yonge and Eglinton junction.
This midtown condominium will have two levels of retail space and a variety of residential apartments, including a higher-than-average percentage of two- and three-bedroom layouts. The proposal will include the façade of the site’s abandoned hydro vault building, creating a seamless transition between old and contemporary architecture.
The region around the crossroads has been urbanized to a record level, with a record number of new condos, ranging from just finished to projected and everything in between. With the amount of proposed projects, this community is on course to become one of the most densely inhabited in Canada.
Transit infrastructure is well-developed in the neighborhood, with inhabitants having access to a variety of kinds of transportation. Residents in the community may stroll to many public transportation stations. St. Andrew Subway Station and Union Station are around a 10-minute walk apart for individuals who prefer to go by rail.
Vehicles in the region have easy access to the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway. At any moment, passengers may board a public bus and go to downtown Toronto or any other destination.
The educational system in the region is sufficiently evolved to accommodate students of all ages.
The area is home to a variety of great schools that are conveniently accessible to students and parents on foot. For older students, a number of famous institutions, such as the University of Toronto-St. George Campus, are just 16 minutes away. Among the other schools are Ryerson University, Northwestern University-Toronto, and Yorkville University.
Residents of the community have hit gold when it comes to outdoor recreation. Enjoy the outdoors in a variety of settings, including parks, conservation areas, beaches, and gardens. Aitken Park Place is conveniently located nearby. Sugar Beach is only a few minutes away. Local residents can reach Allan Gardens in around 12 minutes.
Many of them will have dens or flexible rooms, resulting in useful and adaptable apartments. 112 parking spots and 402 bike spaces will be incorporated in a four-level underground garage.
The fourth story of the building will house the majority of the facilities, including 5,758 square feet of outdoor area linked to 2,690 square feet of internal space. Both zones will have areas for relaxation, eating, and leisure.
This proposal, which will be located on the northwest corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Duplex Avenue, plans for a 36-story skyscraper comprised of a 2-3 storey pedestal and a tower rising above.
The pedestal is scheduled to have 20,000 square feet of retail space, while the tower will house 401 residential units. The developers have planned 92 two-bedroom and 40 three-bedroom apartments, in addition to 269 one-bedroom flats, to meet the increased demand for two- and three-bedroom homes.
