MOD Developments‘ 55C Condos have already made headlines for their enormous scale and elegant construction in Toronto‘s Church-Yonge Corridor neighbourhood!

The project is a contemporary 48-story high-rise condominium that will replace an ageing rental tower at 55 Charles Street East, just south of Yonge and Bloor.

The 55C condominiums will have 551 units with studio, one, two, and three-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 335 to 1,006 square feet. The project is set to be completed in 2023. The prices of currently available units range from $780,900 to $1,909,900.

In the heart of Toronto‘s Church-Yonge Corridor, 55C will stand tall and proud. This new condominium currently under construction comprises 48 stories and 551 residential units. It was designed by architectsAlliance and interior designer Cecconi Simone for MOD Developments Inc.

The 55 Charles Street East building will contain a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units. The condos will range in size from 350 to 1000 square feet.

The structure will feature a vertical striated pattern interrupted by horizontal striped volumes and a series of insets that will project over the pattern. On the ground level, there will also be a glazing system, which will be a cabled curtain wall. The podium, which will be six floors tall, will be coated in a combination of aluminum panels and curtainwall glass. It will undoubtedly be an architectural masterpiece in the Church-Yonge Corridor district.

The party area and outdoor patio on the building’s 48th floor will be among the development’s highlights. Homeowners will also have access to a BBQ, conference spaces, eating lounges, a fitness facility, and breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline.
