8188 Yonge Condos, A new exciting project is being proposed to the GTA’s Vaughan region. A beautiful new 12-storey building, co-developed by Trulife Developments and Constantine Enterprises Inc will rise at the southwest corner of Yonge Street and Uplands Avenue. This luxury mid-rise project is in the pre-construction phase, and has a tentative occupancy date of Fall 2023.

Why Vaughan?

Vaughan is going through a period of growth and redevelopment. With the launch of the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital and other projects in the area, condominium development is increasing in the last decade. 8188 Yonge Street Condos will be only 10 minutes by car away from the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, the new downtown core of the area. The Metropolitan Centre will have over 440 acres of office towers, condos, parks, shops and hotels, employing 36,000 people, including residents who’s commutes will be only minutes. All of this will be connected by both walkways and cycle paths. A bold new vision for Vaughan, this exciting project will be an epicentre for the entire area, and one end point of the TTC subway Yonge-University line

Transit Options

Transportation within the city and to it’s neighbouring municipalities within the York Region is simple and affordable, with the aptly named York Region Transit (YRT) and thanks to the TTC Line 1 Yonge-University line, residents will have an easy 40 minute ride to Union Station in the heart of Toronto, just by hopping onto the subway from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station – the only TTC subway stop outside of Toronto itself. Transit for 8188 will only continue to get better thanks to a new agreement with York Region for an extension to the Yonge Line 1 Subway line. The northward extension beyond Finch would bring subway service up as far as Richmond Hill, and would result in a subway station just a five minute walk away from 8188. Commuters can also take advantage of the GO Transit Barrie line, which has stops at Rutherford Station and Maple Station. The line runs from Barrie in the north to Union station.
