Founded in 1998, Daniel Johnson Architect Inc. strives to make buildings that will be “good neighbors”—that will improve or complement their surroundings. They value planning that is clear and logical, construction detailing, and material selection that is appropriate and durable. Their work includes new buildings and renovations, interiors, design studies, and graphics for private and public clients.
Daniel graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in 1989 and a Master of Architecture in 1992. During his studies, he worked in his father’s Winnipeg practice and later for two firms in Vancouver. He moved east in 1997 to establish a Toronto office for one of his employers. In 1998, Daniel Johnson established his own practice, Daniel Johnson Architect Inc. Work has included new buildings and renovations, interiors, and physical condition assessments of existing buildings. Daniel is committed to providing a wide range of services to a varied client base.
