KPMB is a Canada-based architecture firm that was founded in 1987 and is globally renowned. Our extensive work has garnered over 400 prestigious accolades, including 18 Governor General’s Medals, Canada’s highest distinction. Our founding partners, Bruce Kuwabara, Marianne McKenna, and Shirley Blumberg, have all been awarded the Order of Canada for their individual accomplishments and for KPMB’s combined contributions to enhancing the lives of individuals via the built environment.
KPMB has grown in response to a changing world and tried to improve it for more than three decades. We added seven new partners to our leadership team in 2021: Kevin Bridgman, Steven Casey, Phyllis Crawford, Andrew Dyke, Mitchell Hall, Paulo Rocha, and Bruno Weber. As a full-service firm, we specialize in architectural design, interior design, master planning, workplace strategy, project management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable design. KPMB has designed and produced approximately 31 million square feet of projects in a variety of industries, including education, healthcare, scientific research, arts & culture, government, business, hotel, leisure, and mixed-use development.
