WZMH Architects

Four colleagues of the renowned Canadian architect Peter Dickinson created the Webb Zerafa Menkes Housden Partnership in 1961. After Peter’s unexpected death, and with contracts to finish for Izzy Sharp of Four Seasons Hotel and Kenneth Rotenberg of Y&R Properties, our new business was created and designed its first Toronto modernist landmark structures. In the 1960s and 1970s, we developed such iconic structures as the CN Tower, the Royal Bank Plaza, and a number of landmark office buildings in downtown Toronto and Calgary. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, WZMH’s work expanded into the United States, the Middle East, and China to follow its customers.
After 60 years and a rebranding as WZMH Architects, the business has grown from its humble beginnings to become a worldwide powerhouse in architectural design, with buildings in every major Canadian city and many more throughout the globe. Source: WZMH Architects
