Low-rise condo and townhouse in Calgary
The Calla Condos were developed by Qualex-Landmark as a one-of-a-kind project in the Beltline’s central Connaught District. On land directly east of the ancient Lougheed House, which was given the royal name Beaulieu Gardens, which means Beautiful Place, in 1891. The development was completed in 2013.
The condo was named after the flower Calla Lily, which comes from the Greek word “calla,” which means “magnificent beauty.”
Indeed, Calla serves to connect Calgary‘s past beauty and aspiration to its future.
If you’re searching for a quiet neighbourhood in the heart of the city, the Calla condominium is the place to be.
This luxury condominium, located in downtown Calgary’s Beltline District, allows tenants to enjoy a completely walkable lifestyle near coffee shops, a gym, restaurants, bars, green spaces, schools, transportation links, and much more.
Highway, train, airport, buses, and pedestrian pathways are all part of the area’s vast transportation network. The C-Train runs a transit system with routes that span the whole city. It serves commuters with around 160 bus routes and four C-Train lines (two routes).
A number of major roadways in the area, such as Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail, are available to motorists.
The location is perfect for families in every aspect. The most important factor, which also provides parents with joy, is that there are numerous recognized schools in the area that give high-quality education. The area’s best schools are Mount Royal School, Connaught School, and Earl Grey School.
Students interested in pursuing a post-secondary degree will be delighted to find that the University of Alberta is only 7 minutes away.
Because this area is a Walker’s Paradise, everyday errands may be completed without the need for a car. Residents of the Calla condominiums are only a few steps away from some of the city’s greatest shopping. The CORE Shopping Centre, which is around 7 minutes away, has some of the most well-known brands.
The city’s trendiest, and usually locally-owned, restaurants and bars include Paros Real Green, Bridgette Bar, Ten Foot Henry, and many others.
Residents not only have access to all of the luxuries of a modern city, but they also have access to peaceful natural beauty without having to travel far. Nearby protected areas include Beaulieu Gardens, Tompkins Park, Beltline Park, and Inglewood Bird Sanctuary.
Qualex-Landmark‘s Calla Condos has 168 large condo suites spread out across 12 storeys. The building has a combination of one and two-bedroom flats that are modestly sized and make for an excellent residential alternative for first-time homeowners.
The two-story condos on the ground level at the west end of the building are the largest of the lot.
Residents will have access to high-end facilities that match the building’s exquisite architecture designed by Zeidler Architects and Rafii Architects in collaboration with interior designer Trepp Design Inc. Calla’s common building amenities include a concierge, yoga room, steam room, changing rooms, and a guest bedroom.
They also get unrestricted access to the gym. If the occupants have friends or relatives coming, they have their own suite and heated basement parking.
