High Rise Condo and Townhouse in Toronto
Another Kilmer Group building in West Don Lands, following the success of The Canary District Condos, will draw even more prospective homes to this attractive location. With a focus on community and sustainability, the Canary Park Condos at 120 Bayview Ave. and 398 Front Street East are only rivaled by their modern elegance – all to the advantage of their inhabitants and visitors.
IBI Group Architects completed the project in 2016, with Page + Steele collaborating with IBI Group on its design. When you glance at the Canary Park Condos, you’re immediately drawn in by the steeped towers and the dazzling glass balconies.
The names of 120 Bayview and 398 Front are derived from the Canary Restaurant, which was built in the early 1900s. As a result of the restaurant’s closure, this popular gathering place for artists and businesspeople has been maintained, giving the area a lovely feeling of history. However, the fact that Corktown is thriving and ready for development may be more appealing to potential inhabitants.
Riders may take the 504 and 514 Streetcars to go about the downtown core, traveling through neighborhoods including the Distillery District, St. Lawrence Market, and the Entertainment District.
Riders of these Streetcars may transfer to the subway at St. Andrew and King stations, allowing residents to travel throughout the city on the TTC with ease.
There are also numerous schools in the neighborhood, which makes it popular to families and kids. Many public and private institutions, including Voice Intermediate School, Seed Alternative School, and Riverdale Rainbow Ctr, are within walking distance of the condo.
However, the fact that Corktown is thriving and ready for development may be more appealing to potential inhabitants. In the area, there are already a lot of great shops, restaurants, and cafes, but thanks to government investment, there will be even more. Corktown Commons Park, located across the street from the Canary Park Condos, has everything from a splash pad to a fireplace, so the inhabitants of the neighborhood can spend a summer’s day and night.
For instance, at 120 Bayview and 398 Front Street there are 439 condominiums in downtown Toronto, ranging from 400 to 1,400 square feet in size. This comprises studios, one, and two bedroom suites, the latter two of which come with choices of a den as well. Two-bedroom townhouses at the Canary Park Condos may also be of interest to prospective homeowners.
Whatever the size of the suites, they all have 9 foot ceilings, quartz countertops, and engineered hardwood flooring to make them seem large and modern in style. In addition, the living areas are extended onto large balconies and patios.
