3D printing company and homebuilder Lennar have jointly announced that they will build 100 3D printed homes in Austin, Texas.
The vast majority of homes in North America are built of wood, and shortages of raw materials and rising labour costs pushed up prices during the outbreak. It can take months to build a house.
However, 3D printing has an unparalleled advantage in this respect, requiring only three people and two machines, and a house can be built in just 48 hours.

In the next phase, TAM will work with Effistruc Consulting, Alterativ Design and UBC to build Canada’s first 3D printing community in Nelson, BC province, to alleviate the growing problem of homeless people there, which is also supported by the local government.
As the first phase of community building, TAM will first build five two-bedroom houses and provide them at low prices to those in urgent need.
When the community is completed, it will be housed by the local homeless, and World Housing says he hopes to extend the community model to the whole country in the future.

But at present, there are still many problems in the promotion of 3D printing.
