David Lam Campus of Douglas College in Canyon Springs is a university-preparatory school with a focus on liberal arts and sciences.

Outdoor

The Port Moody Ale Trail, which includes four local craft brewers, is only a few blocks away on Murray Street. The Coquitlam Crunch, a two-kilometer ascent of 244 meters that's comparable to North Vancouver's famed Grouse Grind, can be easily accessed from many of the city's residential areas, thanks to its location on kid-friendly cul-de-sacs.
