Acorn Developments’ intergenerational enterprise has played an important part in the Greater Toronto housing sector for the last 60 years. In the early 1960s, the future Acorn’s leaders created BAIF Developments Limited with industry partners, an innovative and fully integrated real estate development business responsible for several monuments, including the first site development of the well-known Yonge and Eglinton Centre. Over the course of three generations, their family business grew to include construction, high-rise, land, and residential development, as well as the management of industrial, commercial, and residential properties.
