Stephen Diamond, Eph’s son and the current President and CEO of DiamondCorp, is in charge of the company. Stephen, a lawyer by profession, established this development company to enable him to engage in negotiations without having to follow the lead of third parties. His goal was to approach negotiations in a way that would help him build strong bonds with city council members, municipal planners, ratepayers, and the general public. Rezoning land for more suitable uses and densities is a key component of Stephen’s and his company’s progressive approach to city planning.

Stephen and his team are enthusiastic about the future after watching Toronto’s development change over the past 10 to 15 years.
