Townwood Homes has been in the home-building business for 45 years. They constructed houses with durability, longevity, and aesthetics in mind. Their owners can be assured that they are making a wise investment in a house that will provide them with style, usability, and countless hours of enjoyment for years to come.
Tony Guglietti, the company’s founder and president, developed a tradition of quality that is exemplified by the new, existing, and under-construction communities. Guglietti saw a vision in 1974. His vision and enthusiasm inspired him to create cutting-edge houses that cater to the ever-evolving demands of homeowners. The foundation for the business’s ongoing success is the capacity to forecast and assess the direction of the market. This still holds now as the next generation takes over to move the business forward.
Every neighbourhood in the Greater Toronto Area establishes the benchmark for excellence and innovation. Townwood Homes has truly been a pioneer in many firsts in Southern Ontario. For instance, Townwood Homes was the first new home builder in Ontario to provide household sprinkler systems and garage heat sensors as standard safety features. The famed Mackenzie Ridge Terraces in Maple were the site of this invention.
Townwood Homes has used link designs, which are semis linked at the ground level, since the 1970s. Marley Tile Roofs, Ontario’s first home vehicle hoist that tripled the capacity of a two-car garage, arrived in the affluent neighbourhoods of Woodbridge and Mississauga. This marked the start of a central design studio for low-rise housing and Quattroplex Townhomes, which provide first-time purchasers with a reasonable first-home price and a design they enjoy. This invention created a cutting-edge modern dwelling by fusing the advantages and qualities of both the duplex and the bungalow. Source: Townwood Homes
