Canadian National Housing Agency Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation) said in a report in June that nearly 19 million housing units would be needed by 2030.
This means that 5.8 million new houses must be built, 3.5 million more than currently expected to be built to meet this demand.
