Toronto is the only city in Canada that ranks in the top ten. The average home price in the Greater Toronto area is expected to rise to $1114387 in October.

Recently, a statistical ranking table made by Knight Frank Consulting compares the increase in house prices in 46 cities around the world this year. Toronto is the city with the fastest increase in house prices this year, according to the report.

According to the Prime Global Cities Index report, Toronto ranks first among the 46 regions.

During the 12-month period from the end of June last year to the end of June this year, house prices in Toronto soared by 27%. The report points out that this is driven by the strong willingness of buyers to buy houses and the low level of the number of listed houses.

According to figures for the first half of this year, house prices in Toronto surged 15.5% from the first quarter to the second quarter, the only one of the more than 40 cities on the list that increased by double digits over a three-month period.

In north America, house prices are rising by an average of 16% a year, which means everyone can feel the heat of the housing market.

According to the Prime Global Cities Index report, the top 10 growth rates are as follows:

Toronto, North America (27%).

Shanghai, Asia (21.4%).

Guangzhou, Asia (19.8%).

Seoul, Asia (19.6%).

Miami, North America (18.7%).

Moscow, Russia (17.6%).

Los Angeles, North America (17.5%).

San Francisco, North America (17.1%).

Vancouver, North America (16.6%).

Taipei, Asia (14.9%).
