Planned to launch in 2021, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will have a stop nearby at Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue just a few minutes away. This important new infrastructure will have crosstown traffic immensely and will likely be a large part of the way residents get around the city. Further adding to the transit infrastructure, a GO Transit Midtown will eventually cut through the neighbourhood as well, providing another east-west commuter option. This line will have a stop at North Toronto Station in Summerhill, which is now being used as an LCBO, but may again act as a transit station in the historic building.
