Roxburgh is a tree-lined suburb on the banks of the Elbow River River, just a stone’s throw from Stampede Park, the site of the Calgary Cowboy Festival, one of the popular summer destinations in Calgary. The community was founded in 1923, when the buildings were still standing. The average annual household income here is C $810847.

Located south of Mount Upper Royal in the affluent western suburbs of Calgary, between Frontenac Ave and 34th Ave, it became an exclusive enclave during the heyday of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Some of the estates here date back to a century ago. The annual household income in the southern part of Upper Royal Mountain is C $609395.

One of the richest suburbs of Montreal, the area across King George Park in the town of Westmount was once known as Murray Hill. It was renamed after a royal visit in 1939. The average annual household income here is C $534971.

The community was once home to the American-born business elite in Calgary, and even today, nearly 1/3 of its residents are immigrants from the south of the border. Even in 1952, when the Britannia community was established on the east bank of the Eber River, the land sold for as much as 20 times the average price in Calgary. The community remains home to some of the most expensive residential properties in Calgary. The average annual household income here is C $1334970.

The average house price in Westmount is the highest in Canada, and the houses here are often luxury houses hidden in lots of green plants to protect their privacy, so you don’t even know you have neighbors. The average annual household income in Westmount is C $393746.

In the north of Shaughnessy, from W 29th Ave to Laurier Ave, you will still find many historic houses dating back to 1907 when the Canadian Pacific Railway established the community. The average annual household income here is C $371510.

Communities along Sunnyside Ave except south of Lexington Ave tend to have lower house prices than anywhere else in Westmount, one of Montreal’s wealthiest suburbs. The average annual household income in Westmount is C $363271.

The Lexington Ave neighborhood is located west of Sunnyside Ave, all the way to St. Joseph’s Cathedral and the private girls’ school Villa Sainte-Marcelline, so residents can enjoy magnificent views of one of Canada’s most beautiful cities. The average annual household income here is C $642960.

Kerrisdale Park is just a small block in the tree-lined Kerrisdale, developed around the intercity railway station named in 1905. It was originally called Kerry’s Dale, named after the Scottish Kerrydale. The average annual household income here is C $1153529.

Located west of Granville Ave, Shaughnessy Heights, from W 39th Ave to Connaught Dr to W 29th Ave, is the richest community in Vancouver. It is also one of the most expensive. The average annual household income in Shaughnessy Heights is C $700431.
