The Cinema Tower Condos were most likely called for its closeness to Toronto's famous TIFF Bell Lightbox - the two structures back into one another. Fortunately for cultural junkies, 21 Widmer is located in the King West neighborhood and is surrounded by a plethora of entertainment facilities, including the 14-screen Scotiabank Theatre and the Princess of Wales Theatre.

When developing the Cinema Tower Condos, The Daniels Corporation and Kirkor Architects clearly realized the necessity to prioritize density, resulting in a structure with 440 apartments. The high-rise, glass and steel-clad structure with circular balconies, rising to 43 stories, was finished in 2013.
