Housing sales in the greater Montreal area in the second quarter of 2019 were 15834, up 8% from the second quarter of last year, the largest quarterly increase since the third quarter of 2005, and the 20th consecutive quarter of growth in housing sales in the greater Montreal area. Home sales in greater Montreal have also risen by 6 per cent over the past 12 months.
