Earlier this year, Harvey Oreck appealed against the $2.899 million valuation of its property at 3422 Triumph St. In Vancouver. Orek said the real value of the property was close to 4 million yuan.
Larry Dybvig, chairman of the BC property valuation Appeal Board, wrote in his decision on the appeal: “the appellant’s main argument is that the valuation of the property is too low to reflect the high quality, decoration and landscape of the house.”
