In Toronto, Daniels FirstHome Keelesdale is a combination of townhouses and mid-rise condos. This new pre-construction project by The Daniels Corporation, Diamondcorp, and Kilmer Group situated at 2175 Keele Street. This property encompasses 10 acres on the east side of Keele, just next to Woodborough Park. With a total of 731 apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom condominiums and townhomes. This redevelopment is being led by one of the region’s most seasoned mixed-use community developers.
This section of the neighborhood includes a mix of residential and commercial uses and is just starting to see an influx of modern condos. This affords you an exceptional chance to be a part of a neighborhood experiencing a metamorphosis, in a building developed by developers of the highest caliber.
Daniels FirstHome Keelesdale takes use of the planned Eglinton Crosstown LRT, whose Keelesdale Station will be a short distance south. The LRT is expected to be operational within the next several years, expanding the city’s rapid transit network by about 20 kilometers and giving citizens more transportation alternatives than ever before. Investing in real estate on or near the LRT is thus prudent. Alternately, vehicles may take one-way streets such as Richmond or Adelaide to avoid traffic on major arterial roads. 731 new residential units will be added to the area by Daniels FirstHome Keelesdale. In addition to nine three-story townhouse blocks, seven up to eight-story midrises and nine three-story townhome blocks would be constructed. Graziani + Corazza is currently planned to manage the architecture for the project. In a ravine setting, a 12-acre, three-phase master-planned community has a new nature-themed public park, walking paths, and a playground. The premium amenities hub will be finished in the autumn of 2022 and will have a co-working space, communal urban gardening plots and a garden prep studio, an indoor fitness center, and a party room with direct access to an outdoor dining area with barbecue grills and lounge chairs.
It is envisaged that 760 parking spaces would be accommodated in an underground garage. A new public road would run east to west across the land and link to Keele, while a public park would occupy the northeast corner of the plot and connect to Woodborough Park. The whole property will be properly landscaped by Ferris + Associates, who will merge the development into the neighborhood’s forested ravine lands.
