Spring Garden Townhomes

This is one of the municipalities that merged to form the Toronto mega-city, allowing North York to become a city inside a city. It was first referred to be a regional agricultural center made up of dispersed populations. It is bounded to the north by Finch Avenue, to the east by Victoria Park, to the west by Keele Street, and to the south by Lawrence Avenue. It originated as a collection of several separate neighborhoods, which earned it the distinction of being a massively varied place. The area has an urban feel to it, with tiny residential streets and large boulevards.

Transportation

With roughly 400,000 commuters each day, the stretch of Highway 401 that runs through North York is the busiest piece of highway in North America. Finch Station on the Yonge–University line is the busiest TTC stop and the city’s sixth busiest subway station. The Sheppard Subway Line runs fully through North York and has many users each day.

Outdoor

Fairview Mall, Yorkdale Retail Centre, Sheppard Plaza, and the Don Mills Centre are just a few of the famous shopping complexes near Spring Garden Townhomes. Cultural institutions include Black Creek Pioneer Hamlet (an actual 19th century history village), the Toronto Centre for the Arts, the Aga Khan Museum, and the Ontario Science Centre, which has over 800 scientific exhibits. All of these are reachable by taking the superior option, the TTC.

Despite all of these new buildings, the region is still surrounded by natural green areas, dells, and brooks that meander down the Don River, but it is best known for its extensive network of parks and trails. The urban forest adds to the scenery’s charm. It also provides a nice respite from the rush and bustle of daily life.
