More than 1,800 residences and 400,000 square feet of new commercial space are expected to be built at Station Square, located in the center of Metrotown in Burnaby, British Columbia, during the next decade.
Metrotown’s Station Square offers a fresh perspective on urban living in Burnaby’s center. Metropolis, Canada’s second-largest mall, is only a few blocks away from the city’s bustling café culture and three acres of elevated open space.
Residents of Metrotown of all ages enjoy Central Park, a large green area on the neighborhood’s western edge, which has mature trees. Swangard Stadium is one of the area’s many sporting facilities, which includes tennis courts as well as an outdoor swimming pool.
