High-rise condo in Toronto
Hyde Park Homes and The Sher Corporation are collaborating on this project. The construction location is near Moss Park, at Shuter and Mutual Streets southeast corner. The pre-construction phase of this new development project is underway in downtown Toronto‘s Garden District.
According to the plan, a 32-story residential skyscraper with 234 apartments would be constructed on the site, with a 2.5-story foundation made up of an existing historic structure. For the base, the historic building’s facade will be repaired and integrated into the lobby and amenity area for the residences. There will also be a variety of two-story townhouses with entrances from the inside of the base structure as part of the project.
Toronto’s Garden District condos provide the convenience of being in the center of the action. East of Dundas Square, in Toronto’s downtown official plan, this tiny enclave is situated in an area considered a cornerstone of the city’s development management strategy and the preeminent urban growth hub in the Greater Toronto Area. Shopping, entertainment, and a wide range of hip cafés and restaurants can all be found in this area.
Bikers have good access to lanes on Richmond, Adelaide, and Sherbourne streets, enabling them to get to their goals while minimizing their effect on the surrounding environment. TTC passengers may go east and west on Queen Street by streetcar, or they can take the subway to Yonge-Dundas Station, which is only a few minutes away from their hotel’s lobby. Both the Gardiner Expressway and the Don Valley Parkway are within easy reach for drivers if they go south on lower Jarvis for the Gardiner and east on Richmond for the Don Valley.
Many other significant attractions in the area have also grown in recent years, including the recently enlarged Ryerson University, which is immediately north of the city, and St. Michael’s Hospital, which is a world-class medical institution. The site is near to the Eaton Centre, as well as a plethora of shopping, eating, and entertainment choices in the neighborhood around Dundas Square, which is immediately west of the location.
Weekends are an exciting time to be in the Church Street Corridor, and the only problem you’ll have is choosing where to spend your time. Yonge Street is just a short walk away from 76 Shuter, allowing inhabitants of the Darden District to enjoy the finest of Toronto’s nightlife without having to go far. There are also several excellent bars and clubs in the area, including Carbon Bar and Ram in the Rye, which are also recommended.
The building’s interior will be just as stylish and modern as the rest of it. With 163 one-bedroom plans, 62 two-bedroom and 26 three-bedroom layouts, the mix of units is anticipated to be diverse. High ceilings, wood-inspired laminate flooring, contemporary exposed concrete walls, sliding or swing doors, wire shelves, and expansive balconies are just some of the interior finishing touches in the suites. To complete the luxury living experience for homeowners, this development’s kitchens will include top-of-the-line equipment.
Architecture firm ArchitectsAlliance is designing the contemporary section of the building, and they have published drawings that reveal a modern design with symmetrical lines and a glass front, among other features. Its distinctively urban design will be an excellent fit to the neighborhood’s continuing development, while the rebuilt, heritage-inspired base will pay respect to the area’s historic origins.
