High-rise condo in Toronto

Both the Republic Towers’ glass, concrete, and steel buildings were designed and built by CS&P and Burka Varacalli Architects in 2010. Tridel knew the neighborhood needed a second after the first one sold out so fast. Buildings such as the Republic North Tower and the Republic South Tower provide views of Broadway and Roehampton, respectively.

Aside from its commitment to environmental standards, Tridel is also noted for its energy-efficient utilities and plumbing. Indoor swimming pools, gyms, and saunas are just a few of the many high-tech features available to guests. While living at 25 Broadway Avenue, residents can also take advantage of other amenities like access to a 24-hour concierge and guest suites as well as an underground parking garage with 21 spots for guests. The building also has an entertainment space on the 14th floor, complete with an outdoor cabana lounge and barbecue pits, making it easy to enjoy meals al fresco.

Neighborhood

To call this area of Toronto “midtown” is an understatement. The Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood is a must-see. On each side of busy Yonge Street, tree-lined lanes dotted with single-family and semi-detached houses provide inhabitants with peace and quiet while yet providing easy access to everything that the city has to offer.

Transportation

If you’re planning on going somewhere else, Yonge and Eglinton are great options. Passengers may get to Eglinton West station on the University-Spadina line by taking buses along Eglinton, while those going south on the Yonge line can simply walk across to Eglinton Station.

To get a feel for the greater region, consider visiting the nearby communities as well. There are a variety of recreational options for residents in Forest Hill South, including trips to Mount Pleasant to browse the shops, rides around Forest Hill South to admire the opulent homes that line every street, and days spent getting lost in Sunnybrook Park or along the Don River’s ravines and trails.

Amenities

The Republic North Tower condominiums in Toronto are bathed in warm natural light from the tower’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Doors with frosted glass let people in and out of bedrooms while also adding a touch of elegance to the space.

As a result of its lesser height, the Republic North Tower includes fewer units than its southern neighbor, however the 25-story building at 25 Broadway does have the most space per unit. There are 178 Toronto condominiums in the 25 Broadway building, ranging in size from around 550 square feet to 3,300 square feet.
