Toy Factory Lofts

Founded in the early 1900’s, this property was originally home to the Irwin Toy factory, Canada’s oldest toy company.

In 2008, Lanterra Developments transformed the building into an award-winning mixed-use commercial and residential space, known in the Liberty Village neighbourhood as Toy Factory Lofts.

The Toy Factory Lofts is a prime example of how the old and the new can coexist in harmony with one another. The building’s red brick, industrial-style exterior allures passersby with its historical charm. The modern sign, with its bold white lettering, lets everyone in on a little secret: authentic hard lofts lie within.

A home to young professionals in the design and film industries, Liberty Village has many new and interesting restaurants, cafes and bars to explore, not to mention recreational centres and easy access to Toronto’s Entertainment District and the Waterfront.
