Aside from its peaks and valleys, Canada also recognized around the globe for its lakes. These lakes include Erie, Superior, Huron, Ontario, and Michigan, which together form what is known as the Great Lakes system in the nation. Canada’s ascents and descents are also well known. It is the system of linked fresh water lakes in the world, covering around 95,000 square miles and accounting for slightly more than 20 percent of the planet’s total fresh surface water. There is no better spot to do whatever it is that you darn well feel like doing than by the side of a lake in Canada. Whether you want to kayak, canoe, water ski, or sit and look while pondering life, the world, and everything, there is no other place.

The Garibaldi Lake Trail, which is just under nine kilometers long, is the only way to reach this location on foot. When you go during the winter, you may ski in the backcountry or go snowshoeing as you take in the breathtaking scenery around the lake. Hiking is possible throughout the remainder of the year and take in the views of the waterfalls, flowers, and meadows.

The breathtakingly gorgeous lake, which has an emerald green color, is surrounded on all sides by the mountains. The mountains are up the President Range and located at an altitude of more than 1,200 meters. Canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed at the lake, one of the most popular attractions in Yoho National Park. Despite its location in a remote part of Canada, it can be reached quickly and easily by car. The lake stays frozen from November until June, but its beauty is at its height in July, when snow fallen on the surrounding mountains melts into the lake. But regardless of when you go, you’ll be blown away by the beauty of Emerald Lake.
