Toronto has long been an impressive destination for business people. The megacity has the right infrastructure and atmosphere to foster businesses, and it’s been reputed for that. However, of late, the city’s appeal to movers and shakers seems to have risen. The number of business people travelling to Toronto has been on the rise. Social media holds the proof.

A recent study carried out by Givetastic shows Toronto is amongst the world’s top cities frequented by entrepreneurs. The same has been evidenced by the flow of private jets and commercial flights.

Givetastic surveyed Instagram posts featuring hashtags #businesstrip from October 2022 to February 2024. Though the city hasn’t attracted as many business people as American cities such as Miami and New York, it emerged to be the most popular Canadian city for business people. That’s not all, it’s the only city outside the USA to break into the top 10.

Although this might not seem like it, the fact that Toronto is getting so much importance in the business community points to its economic potential.

Development in Hogtown never stops, but over the past couple of years, the megacity has picked up pace in terms of development. With Toronto also responding to technological changes quickly, the city’s appeal is surely going to keep rising.

Canadian housing activity was largely stable in March, but a key spring selling season lies ahead. While current activity might seem quiet compared to the exuberance in 2021 and early 2022, sales volumes are trending about in line with pre-COVID norms, albeit at the low end of that range.
