Victory Condo

Rising high in the centre of Spadina and King Street, Victory Condos spans across 478 King St W in Downtown Toronto. The area derives its name from its former function as the centre of Toronto’s textile manufacturing industry. Though few such warehouses exist in the area today, many of the areas retailers still sell their clothing straight from the manufacturers.

The area is bordered by Queen Street to the north, the Canadian National rail tracks to the south, Spadina Avenue to the east and Bathurst Street to the west. The location offers residents of Victory access to all of the essentials. 

Education

If you have your own family, raising kids is not that difficult because schools are just few minutes away from your residence. You can check out The Waterfront School, Ogden Junior Public School. City School or Ryerson Community School.

Transportation

Victory Condos at 478 King St W, near Spadina, sits in a downtown area that has a perfect transit score of 100. Major transit options such as north-south lines, Union Station and the Yonge-University subway are near the community. Gardiner Expressway is also not that far from the community in King West. Also, those looking for a quick way out of the neighborhood, hop on the TTC routes along King Street and Spadina to take you anywhere you need to go in the city. It’s worth noting that if you ride a bicycle, Adelaide and Richmond both provide new, safe bike lanes allowing for a quick and comfortable entry/exit from the area.

If you are a commuter, there are streetcars right outside your building on King and Spadina, from there you can connect to subway lines for travel throughout the city.

Drivers can avoid most city traffic by heading south on Spadina to Lakeshore Boulevard for the Gardiner Expressway.

Outdoor

It is not just about shopping and dining, if you want to have some walk or stroll, you can go to nearby parks like Clarence Square Park. Not just that, you can also absorb the arts by taking in a show at the Factory Theatre, or planning a visit to the Nicholas Metivier Gallery. The Fashion District also offers a variety of destinations for a fun night out, from a quick pint at Bar Hop to dancing at Media Bar on Peter.

Shopping and Dining

If you want to have some walk and grab some food, grocery or even go shopping, you can always be sure that there will be something to do on any given night within a short walking distance. The half a kilometre surrounding 478 King Street includes restaurants such as Weslodge, coffee at the Nook Café, bars such as Firkin on King, groceries from the Fresh & Wild Food Market, parks such as Clarence Square, and shopping at Patagonia Toronto among other boutiques in the neighborhood.

Moving further out, taking the TTC puts you within minutes of the Rogers Centre, the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, as well as all the boutiques, studios, restaurants, fashion, and entertainment of the Queen West, King West, and Liberty Village regions.
