The area derives its name from its former function as the centre of Toronto’s textile manufacturing industry. Though few such warehouses exist in the area today, many of the areas retailers still sell their clothing straight from the manufacturers.

The area is bordered by Queen Street to the north, the Canadian National rail tracks to the south, Spadina Avenue to the east and Bathurst Street to the west. The location offers residents of Victory access to all of the essentials.

Transportation

Victory Condos at 478 King St W, near Spadina, sits in a downtown area that has a perfect transit score of 100. Major transit options such as north-south lines, Union Station and the Yonge-University subway are near the community. Gardiner Expressway is also not that far from the community in King West.
