The survey, conducted by the Canadian Citizens Association, shows a worrying trend: 30% of young immigrants between the ages of 18 and 34 in Canada plan to move out of Canada in the near future, and 23% of college-educated immigrants also plan to leave.
As for the reasons why these people want to leave Canada, the survey found that although many people admit that Canada provides a high quality of life for immigrants, new immigrants with bachelor’s degrees complain more about job opportunities and salary equality than other immigrants because of the rising cost of living and more challenges.

The report also mentions that young and highly skilled immigrants feel they are not being taken seriously.
The head of the polling company says Canada needs to ensure that more resources and opportunities are provided for them if it is to attract and retain highly skilled new immigrants.
