Highlights

Neighborhood

Gotham is a modern statuesque condominium that rises 17 floors into Ottawa‘s skyline. Gotham, Ottawa‘s newest landmark, combines huge panes of glass, strong steel, and striking charcoal brick. Gotham, designed by Brad J. Lamb, CEO of Lamb Development Corporation, has a distinctive monolithic architectural shape and is intended to offer a variety of housing alternatives, including two-story lofthouses, single-level lofts, glasshouses, and penthouses.

Gotham, located on the intersection of Lyon and Gloucester, is where elegance and design meet city life. Work-life balance has never been simpler, since it is just steps from downtown, Centretown, Little Italy, Hintonburg, and Chinatown. Allowing for easy access to all of these neighbourhoods, as well as many, many surrounding services!

Transportation

The development has an excellent transportation network, with a transit score of 91/100, which is nearly perfect. This neighbourhood is ideally located between Bronson Avenue and Elgin Street, and it is adjacent to Highway 417. The downtown area is 15 minutes from Ottawa International Airport, 10 minutes from the VIA Rail rail station, and 5 minutes from the Greyhound Bus Station.

Shopping and Dining

The rush and bustle of activity throughout the day is offset by the peace and quiet of the nights. However, nightlife is not far away, since Elgin St., Bank St., and the Byward Market all have a variety of restaurants and pubs that are open late. The neighbourhood is densely populated with fine dining establishments, including some of Ottawa‘s top steakhouses and seafood restaurants.

Cultured palates will be delighted to learn that Ottawa‘s Chinatown and Little Italy are also close. This neighborhood is also home to a number of foreign and local food stores. The Rideau Centre and several stores are nearby for those who enjoy shopping.

Education

Another reason this region is enticing, particularly to families and children, is the abundance of schools in the neighbourhood. The condo is close to numerous public and private institutions, including Glashan Public School, St. Anthony School, and Dominican University College, which is only 4 minutes away.

Outdoor

One of the primary attractions of Centretown is Canadian culture. The National Arts Centre hosts some of Ottawa‘s greatest concerts, lectures, and exhibitions. If admiring Monet’s works appeals to you, the National Gallery of Canada is a short stroll from the Gotham Condo Ottawa. The Museum of Nature, the Canadian War Museum, and the Museum of Civilization are among the other museums in the region.

Living in the midst of downtown Ottawa does not limit individuals who enjoy outdoor activities. The Ottawa River runs through the northern part of Centretown, and Quebec is only a short drive across the Portage Bridge. The Gatineau Hills, a 10-minute drive into Quebec, provide a variety of hiking routes, bicycle trails, and ski hills. The Rideau Canal, one of Ottawa‘s most well-known attractions, flows through Centretown. The Canal is the world’s longest skating rink, drawing skaters not just for its length but also for its numerous “Beavertail” kiosks.
