The 500 Condos

A high-rise condo at Toronto

500  Condos Sherbourne has a reputation for being a people-pleaser. That is, thankfully, never a negative thing in the realm of residential real estate. We categorize the condo in this manner due to its vast range of styles and exposures, which are ready to delight all types of prospective purchasers looking for Toronto condos for sale.

As the location suggests, the multi-residence complex known as The 500 Condos (but more often known simply as ‘500 Sherbourne’ – the main condo tower) is made up of three structures. The numbers, however, do not betray the details: the main tower at 500 Sherbourne is 34 stories tall, with townhouse-style flats at 150 Homewood and 25 Lourdes Lane.

Highlights

Neighborhood

The surrounding neighborhood is extremely welcoming, since a distinct mood can be found in every direction. St. James Town is surrounded by charming Cabbagetown, the dynamic restaurants and bars of the LGBTQ+ Village neighborhood, the luxury products accessible on Bloor Street, and the tranquil parks and tree-lined streets of Riverdale, to mention a few.
Transportation
Residents of 500 Sherbourne find it easy to get about the city. Even individuals who do not own a car will have little problem getting about Toronto’s neighborhoods. Walking to Wellesley station takes around 9 minutes, but a bus journey along the same route takes about the same length of time – ideal for those sweltering winter days. Those traveling east or west may opt to begin their travels at Sherbourne station, which takes little under 10 minutes to arrive. Drivers would be pleased to know that Bloor Street East provides access to the Don Valley Parkway. Trips to the lake are simple from here, as are journeys up to the 401 and out of town.
Outdoor
Those looking for entertainment will not have to search far if they live in the 500 Sherbourne condominiums. Residents may stroll to the Pheonix Concert Theatre, Allan Gardens, the Toronto Necropolis, and Riverdale Farm. When it’s time to get down to business, the huge Loblaws at Church and Carlton — situated in the former Maple Leaf Gardens — is a 12-minute walk away, while those in a rush will prefer the 7-minute walk to Food Basics on Wellesley.

Amenities

As already stated, sizes, styles, and exposures vary greatly at 500 Sherbourne. While gigantic penthouses are out of the question, individuals seeking a life of luxury may do it in one of the biggest units, which is 2,600 square feet. Couples or single purchasers, on the other hand, will be quite satisfied with the smaller flats, which start at approximately 500 square feet.

Those who are smitten by the townhouse units are not to blame, especially because the ceilings in these two-story residences climb to 16 feet. Those who value their privacy will appreciate the possibility to access their home from the street. Multi-level residences are also available in the tower. Due to large windows and 22-foot ceiling heights, many mezzanine corner units feature floating stairs and an abundance of natural light.
