HighPark Condos

A high-rise condo at Toronto

This 14-story skyscraper at 1830 Bloor St W houses 386 apartments. High Park Residences was completed in 2015 by The Daniels Corporation, with a U-shaped façade of red and grey brick, big glass window panes, and projecting balconies. While the property looks to have three different buildings linked to one another, it is actually one structure.

If you want a lot of facilities, High Park Residences has a lot of them: a fitness center, a yoga studio, a sauna, a rock climbing wall, a billiards room, a games room, a party room, a media room, a shared rooftop deck and garden, a guest lounge, an on-site security officer, a concierge, and parking at the very heart of Toronto.

Highlights

Neighborhood

With a condo in High Park North, you have access to what is probably the greatest park in the city, which is only minutes away from your front door. Even with such a large amount of open space in the region, you don’t have to give up on urban convenience.

There is no ideal buyer for units in this building, so whether you are a first-time buyer, an established professional, a couple, or a small family, there is a unit here to meet your requirements and an excellent neighborhood to explore.

Transportation

1830 Bloor St W has a perfect Walk Score of 85, so if you like to conduct errands on foot, you’ll feel right at home. Within walking distance are Rabba Fine Foods, Nicholson’s No Frills, Max’s Market, and High Park Pharmacy, making food trips and prescription pickups simple.

Those who use public transportation frequently will find bus stations outside their building on Bloor, and High Park Station, which provides subway access to downtown Toronto, is only 2 minutes away. Car owners at High Park Residences don’t have to spend much time stuck in traffic – a simple journey south on Parkside Drive will have you on Lake Shore Boulevard of the Gardiner Expressway in about 10 minutes.

Outdoor

Aside from taking in the surroundings, there are pubs on Bloor such as The Mugshot Tavern — which has mugshots of celebs if you’re like that — Bar With No Name for games and Karaoke, Cabin Fever for a craft brew, and The Wicket for drinks, games, and a platter of wings.

Hannah’s Cafe and Bakery is right next door, and if you’re feeling really Canadian, head east on Bloor to Tim Hortons. Osaka Sushi Japanese Restaurant, Pizza Pizza, Sushi Place, Lunch Box, High Park Deli Express, and Aztec’s Mine are all within walking distance.

Amenities

In addition to its comprehensive facilities and fantastic location at 1830 Bloor St W, this building offers a choice of layouts and exposures, ranging from 320 square feet for a studio to 2180 square feet for a two-story townhouse on the ground level.
